RiggyTry it

What's new in Riggy: October 26 – November 1, 2026

Riggy turns a character or symbol picture into a Spine 4.2 rig with animations through a chat. One change this week, and it matters most for slot symbols: a part can now fade, flicker, change colour and glow during an animation.

Parts that fade, flicker and glow

Oct 26. Before, you could move and bend a part in an animation, but not animate its colour or transparency. Now you can ask in the chat for a part to fade in or out, flicker, take on a colour, or glow. A glow is a bright copy of the part drawn above it that pulses, and it follows the part when the part moves or bends. In the exported files these are the standard Spine 4.2 colour, transparency and blend settings of a part, not a special effect of the preview.

The win-screen assets we studied in 30 slot games mix movement with fades, flashes and glows. The pumpkin below was a 4-layer PSD (body, face glow, stem, leaf). In its idle the light in the carved face flickers like a candle; on the win it squashes, hops, and the face flares and settles. We could already animate its jump; now we can animate its candlelight.
