Controls: mouse, touch and keyboard on the canvas

Every gesture on the canvas in one list: select, move, rotate, resize, pan and zoom, with the keys that go with them — for desktop and for phone.

On desktop

A click selects, a drag works on the selection. By default the art and its bone move together; ⌥ moves only what you grabbed.

Select
Click the artselects the part and the bone that carries it
Click again in placepicks the part underneath
Dragalways works on the selection and never changes it
Click empty space, or press Escclears the selection
Move
Drag the artmoves the bone — the art and its children follow
Drag the bone line or its originmoves the bone
⌥ + drag the artmoves the art inside the bone; the bone stays put
⌥ + drag the bonemoves the bone alone; its art and child bones stay put
Shift + dragkeeps to one axis
Arrow keysnudge by 1 unit, with Shift by 10
Rotate
Drag the corner markrotates the bone — the art and its children follow
Drag the bone tiprotates the bone
⌥ + drag the corner markrotates the art alone, around its own centre
⌥ + drag the bone tiprotates the bone alone; its art and child bones stay put
Shift + dragsnaps to 15°
Resize
Drag a frame cornerresizes the bone — its art and child bones grow with it
⌥ + drag a frame cornerresizes only that piece of art
Shift + dragfrees the proportions
Rig or Motion
Rig (the switch under the player)a drag reshapes the rig itself — every animation follows
Motiona drag reshapes only the playing animation, at the moment shown
Click a mark on the trackjumps to that moment, pauses, and switches to Motion

Bend
